Ukhrul, September 10 2011:
Two brother Pastors from USA are currently enlightening the Christian leaders of Ukhrul district in a three-day spiritual seminar on Baptism faith being organised under the theme, 'Impact India and 10/40 Window First Pastors and Leadership Training' .
The seminar which kick started on September 9 will continue till September 11 .
The event is being organised by Indo-Myanmar Baptist Mission (IMBM) and Christ Centred Baptist Ministry (CCBM) at its headquarters conference hall, Phungreitang.
On the second day today, Pastor John Wilkerson, in his first session, as a resource person enlightened the gathering with the words of God through the doctrinal principles from the book of Timothy.
He passed the message of Lord to 45-50 Pastors including Christian leaders from across Ukhrul district.
Pastor John taught the gathering about the role model of true Christian Pastors and leaders.
The central theme in his session reflected that Pastors must have ears to listen the voices of all the people, open one's heart Bible, houses and wallets to give away rooms and helping hand to the needy.
Active or true followers of Christ never remain in idleness but to visit, people, house to house, talking or sitting with people to share the words of God as much as one can by listening to the problems.
Pastor Mark Wilkerson shared the gospel messages from the book of Philipians 1:21 in his session.
He gave strong inputs the example of Apostle Paul who says, "he desires to see Jesus" and want to be with Him.
Pastor Mark also imparted the gospel knowledge in the principle to be "unity of working together" in the name of Christ (Phil.1:12-13) as God is always faithful and knows all and everything.
And at times of any adversaries, He stands by His people (Phil.
1:20) .
