Sit-in protests held all over to demand ILP

The ILPS movement continues with people coming out in support for the movement launched by the JCILPS.
Womenfolks in different parts of the valley today staged sit-in protests demanding the enactment of the three Bills, removal of non-Manipuri from State electoral list and banning non-Manipuris from contesting State elections.
Keishampat Mutum Leikai Meira Paibi Lup staged a sit-in protest in the middle of Keishampat road blocking traffic at the area.
Similar protests were seen at Keishampat Kangabam Leikai, Keishamthong Moirang Ningthou Leirak organised by their respective meira paibi lups.

Youth Organisation, Khangempalli also organised sit-ins at Khagempalli Panthak and Pankha which were participated by a large number of women.
The protestors blocked half of Khagempalli road during the protest.
Womenfolks at Kwakeithel Nganappithong also staged sit-in at two different places while Singjamei Chingmakha Apunba Nupi Lamjing Lup and Model Club, Chingamakha jointly staged a sit-in at Iroi Yumjao community hall.
Womenfolks of Uripok Yambem Leikai, Uripok Bachaspati Leikai along with teaching and non teaching staff of Heritage Covent also staged a sit-in in front of the school.
Similar protests were held at Yaingangpokpi Keithel organised by Yaingangpokpi Lamjing Nupi Lup and Khurai Lamlong Keithel organised by Union of Social Upliftment.
A similar sit-in protest was also held at Khoyathong, opposite the ABC godown.
In the meantime, students of Brighter Academy School, Checkon took out a protest rally from the school gate to Palace Gate at around 1.30 pm today in support of the ILPS movement.
Thoubal district and Bishnupur district also saw similar protests at different places.
