Students' Science seminar

Class IX students Lanchenbi Arambam of Catholic School, Canchipur and Preety Soibam of Ruda Academy, Thoubal will represent Manipur at the national level science seminar after respectively bagging the first and second position in the 35th State Level Students' Science Seminar held today at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound.
The seminar organised by the Science Unit, Directorate of Education (Schools) and presided over by former Manipur University Vice Chancellor Prof C Amuba Singh was held on the topic "Water cooperation: Issues and Challenges".
Lanchenbi represented Imphal West district (Wangoi Circle) and Preety Thoubal (Zone-III).
In all 26 student representing different districts and zones participated the seminar attended by Director of Education (S) H Deleep Singh and Prof P Manihar Singh of Department of Life Science, MU as the chief guest and president respectively.
All the other student participants were also awarded consolation prizes.
