Royal Riders organise free medical camp

Imphal, February 07 2022:
Royal Riders Manipur conducted their 23rd Free Medical Camp at New Tousom village under Jessami sub-division in Ukhrul district today.
In a statement, Royal Riders Manipur shared that during the camp, around 200 villagers received medical treatment from 7 doctors who further provided them with free medicines.
The Club also imparted Covid-19 awareness to the villagers and distributed masks and hand sanitisers.
Tree saplings were also planted by the club members around the village.
In connection with the Club's 15th Foundation Day, Royal Riders Manipur distributed simple gifts to the senior citizens in the village above the age of 70 .
Shangmaiyo Vashum, village headman, shared that the residents have been unable to avail of the various healthcare schemes offered by the Government due to the village's remote location.
He further shared that residents of New Tousom village are facing serious inconveniences due to the absence of doctors and nurses at the Primary Health Centre of the village located at Indo-Myanmar border.
