Nodal officers for GTV 2.0 named

The Government has appointed various nodal officers to ensure proper monitoring, timely coordination and smooth organisation of the 'Go To Village 2.0' in all the districts of the State.
T Ranjit Singh, IAS, who is Commissioner (Works) was appointed as nodal officer for Thoubal; C Arthur Worchuiyo, IAS, Secretary (TA & Hill) as nodal officer for Jiribam & Tamenglong; Nungshitombi Athokpam, Commissioner (Law) as nodal officer for Imphal East; Commissioner Science and Tech Devesh Deval, IAS, as nodal officer for Tengnoupal; M Harekrishna, IAS, for Imphal West; Namoijam Kheda Varta Singh, Secretary Revenue as nodal officer for Kamjong; M Joy Singh, IAS, as nodal officer for Bishnupur; N Bandana Devi, IAS, for Kangpokpi; Bobby Waikhom, IAS, for Kakching; Mannuamching, IAS, for Noney; Haobam Rosita, IAS, for Churachandpur; Michael Achom, IRS, for Pherzawl; Kengoo Zuringla, IAS, for Chandel; Armstrong Pamei, IAS, for Ukhrul and B John Tlangtinkhuma as nodal officer for Senapati district, said an order issued by the Government.
The order added that the nodal officers have to assist the Deputy Commissioners in proper coordination with all the Government departments for prompt and effective necessary action while all the DCs concerned were directed to identify and finalise one location in their respective district where the 'Go To Village 2.0' programme will be held in consultation with their nodal officers.
All the DCs have also been allocated funds of Rs 30 lakh per district for properly organising the programme including construction of stalls, organising awareness programmes on Government schemes and various other needs to make the programme a success, added the order.
