He alleged that developmental works have not been actualised in various localities across the State as the members and councillors carry out activities with vested interests and political motives instead of working for the welfare of the locals.
He further opined that with the existence of an apex body of local clubs like CRUCO, any issues within their areas concerned are being resolved amicably and the developmental works have gained momentum which is a good sign.
Expressing concern over the activities of some local clubs who works with political motives, he stated that such local clubs have portrayed the other local clubs who are working earnestly in the wrong light.
In view of such scenarios, he appealed to all the local clubs to strive earnestly for the welfare of all without any political instigation.
Speaking on the occasion, Kipgen Heisnam lauded CRUCO which is a novel organisation for spearheading many important issues in its area.
Ever since its existence CRUCO have initiated campaign against drug within its jurisdiction and its member clubs have played a major role in fighting against the deadly COVID-19 by conducting mass vaccination camps, providing essential items to Covid affected families in association with AMUCO during the trying times and so on, he added.
