From April till date this year One receives 15 refills, some only once

Imphal, December 03 2015: Fifteen is the highest number of refills received by consumers of Zingsho Gas Service from April till date.

Notably, Zingsho Gas Service is one among five LPG distributors located within Ukhrul district.

S Basant (consumer no 13189) is the only consumer of Zingsho Gas Service who has received 15 refills this financial year.

Subsidy amount of Rs 2849.90 has already entered the bank account of this particular consumer.

Out of 400 selected consumers of the distributor, 14 refills each have been issued to four consumers, 13 refills each to ten consumers, 12 refills each to 53 consumers, 11 refills each to 126 consumers, 10 refills each to 94 consumers, nine refills each to 62 consumers an eight refills each to 50 consumers.

According to indent data available with IOC's Sekmai Bottling Plant, altogether 4261 subsidized LPG refills were issued to the selected 400 consumers during this financial year.

At present, the distributor has around 11836 active consumers out of whom 7638 are DBTL consumers.

Many of these DBTL consumers have received only one, two or three refill(s) each from April till date.

The four consumers who have been issued 14 refills each are HC Leithing (consumer no 13565), V Ngalaton (consumer no 14761), M Leishiwon (consumer no.14836) and L Delhi Rose (consumer no 14891) .

Corresponding subsidy amounts of Rs 2822.90, Rs 2868.90, Rs 2849.90 and Rs 2881.27 have been transferred to their respective bank accounts.

As in the case of many other distributors, while the 400 selected consumers have been issued 4261 refills from April till date, a large majority of the consumers have received only a couple of refills all these months.

Out of the 400 selected consumers, seven are yet to get any subsidy.

Nonetheless, subsidy amounts entitled to the remaining 393 have been transferred to their respective bank accounts without any problem.

Of the seven consumers who are yet to receive any subsidy through their bank accounts, four have been issued 10 refills each, one has been issued nine refills and two have received 13 refills each.
