Anti-CAB bike rally concludes

The three day bike rally against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016, organised by SSUM, MSAD, AMMSO, RSF and AMPSUM, concluded today.
Speaking to media persons at SSUM office at Keishampat today, MSAD vice president Makakmayum Furkan Shariff said that the three day cycle rally against the CAB concluded successfully today and the five student unions will continue to launch further protest against the Bill.
Pointing out that the bike rally was aimed to spread awareness about the CAB to the masses, he said that many public meetings were organised at various markets of the State during the period of the bike rally.
He continued that during the bike rally, it came to light that many of the people still had no proper knowledge regarding the CAB, mainly the people from the far flung areas of the State.
Claiming that the people condemn the Bill and assured to rise against the Bill if in case it is passed in the Rajya Sabha, he said that the student unions will also render every possible support to the movement of the people.
