Nemcha Kipgen stirs up Durga Puja spirit amongst Hindus in Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi AC MLA Nemcha Kipgen met people from various Hindu communities including Gorkha, Deshwali, Bihari, Marwari etc.
today residing in Kangpokpi AC and stirred up the spirit and mood of the upcoming Durga Puja festival.
The local MLA also distributed sugar to more than 50 villages from Irang Part-I and Irang Part-II area, Kalapahar area, Parsain, and Tujang area, and Kangpokpi area as Durga Puja gifts in presence of Tingnei Lhouvum, president of BJP Kangpokpi Mandal and other party workers and leaders.
Greeting all the Hindu community from Kangpokpi AC on the occasion of Durga Puja in advance, the MLA said that Durga Puja is one of the most-awaited and colorful religious festivals in India, and the festival is celebrated for the triumph of good over evil and to spread love and happiness.
She also said that Navarati is a colorful festival full of delicious sweets and dishes and everyone enjoys this religious festival all over the world.
"Differences in religion do not separate us but rather enrich us in many aspects of life", the MLA said while adding that by the grace of God, we have been living and coexisting with our Hindu brothers and sisters for many years in Kangpokpi AC.
Representative of the Hindu community leaders, Nandalal Bazgai said that for the last 10 years, MLA Nemcha Kipgen has always motivated the people and joined them on the occasion of Durga Puja and reached out to the people and distributed gifts.
He added that under the leadership of MLA Nemcha Kipgen, the people of various communities have had an equal representation in the local governance by appointing PDS/FPS agents from each community making each and everyone of different communities enjoy their rights to the fullest.
Another representative of the Hindu community who participated in the distribution of sugar said that MLA Nemcha Kipgen is such a rare leader who always maintained friendliness to every community and she always listens to the problems and grievances of everyone irrespective of caste, creed, and religion for which we are blessed to have such leader.
He also said that the local MLA gives importance and respect to all religions while adding that she never dampened the spirit of all religions and communities in her constituency.
