Imphal, July 05 2015 : Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president Anurag Thakur has claimed that BJP would capture all the three Assembly seats where mid-term polls will be held shortly and there would be no Congress Government in Manipur after the next Assembly election.

He was speaking at an event christened 'Youth for Future' held today at BJP State unit office under the aegis of BJYM Manipur Pradesh.

He called upon the gathering to invest maximum efforts to ensure that all the three vacant Assembly seats are won by BJP.

Exuding confidence that BJP would win all the three seats, Anurag ruled out any chance for the ruling Congress party.

He also claimed that the recent ADC election was also a big success for BJP.

BJP will form the next State Government and after that Congress would be reduced to the status of a non-entity, he asserted.

For the rising number of unemployed youth in the State, the BJP leader attributed it to absence of big industries.

Manipur has immense potential in tourism sector.

Promotion of tourism industry can definitely alleviate the State's economy.

Acknowledging that Manipuri people are quite talented in many sports disciplines, Anurag Thakur who is also a Lok Sabha MP remarked that the Government of India took the right decision in choosing Manipur for establishment of National Sports University.

Congress party has been uprooted at the Centre and it would not be long before Congress is kicked out from Manipur.

It's not the time for the youth of Manipur to be disheartened.

It's time for the youth to work collectively with progressive thoughts, Anurag said.

BJP Manipur Pradesh president Th Chaoba said that there are around seven lakh educated unemployed youth in Manipur.

Although Manipur has no industries worth its name, the State can develop a robust tourism industry and it can provide jobs to thousands of youth.

Loktak lake is one of the many sites which can be developed as a tourist hotspot.

Misappropriation of public money in the name of clearing phumdis cannot save Loktak.

Chaoba also stressed on the need for promoting handloom and handicraft sector.

He also predicted BJP victory in all the three Assembly segments which would go to by-election.

Congress party has been wiped out from Delhi too.

"Many Congress MLAs would be lining up before BJP office with applications to join us but they would not be allowed without scrutiny", Chaoba said.

Asking whether there is no suitable place for establishment of sports university other than in Thoubal, Chaoba maintained that it was not right to build the sports university at agricultural land.
