MSSA serves Nov 7 deadline

The Manipur Secretariat Services Association (MSSA) today held a meeting and resolved to launch intense forms of agitation if the five employees suspended for participation in the mass casual leave stir undertaken under the aegis of Manipur Government Services Federation (MGSF) on October 25 are not restored to their respective posts by November 7 .
For their participation in the mass casual leave stir, M Iboyaima (GAD), A Indubala (Education-S), P Shyamkumar (LDA), L Deben (LDA) and N Jugeshwar (Education-S) were pulled up by police from the gate of Secretariat North Block on October 25 .
Although they were released by Court after furnishing PR bonds on October 26, their suspension orders were issued in the evening of the same day .
The MSSA meeting held today denounced the act of detaining and suspending the five employees for joining democratic agitation in the interest of all employees of the State Government.
The meeting resolved that the suspension orders should be revoked by November 7 or else intense agitation would be launched.
