Bicentenary of Don Bosco concludes

The Dimapur province of the Salesians of Don Bosco, working in four States (Upper Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland) concluded the year-long bicentenary celebrations of the birth of Don Bosco on yesterday with a cultural extravaganza at Don Bosco Hr.
Secondary School, Dimapur.
Around 800 students from all the Don Bosco Schools & Salesian Family drawn from the four States, attended the mega celebration.
The two days saw competitions in gospel choreography, skit, Don Bosco quiz, choir, thematic dance, peace rally, panel discussion with prominent past pupils of Don Bosco institutions who are making their presence felt in the society in different fields.
In the gathering of the young talented boys and girls, perhaps the best from different schools, associated with Don Bosco, young 40 artists from DBHSS-Maram, also proved their calibre and competence.
The school bagged two first prizes-Dihjuanreiliu Rebecca Panmei in speech competition in class XII and the cultural troupe of DBHSS Maram in cultural dance.
