"With the coming of the BJP led coalition Government, the State seems to be going backward instead," he claimed.
Saying that the BJP is only good at poster and flag campaign, the MPCC leader said that the people would have been happy had they (the BJP) utilised the fund spent on flag and campaign on developmental works.
There is no doubt that the BJP introduced many welfare schemes in the last 4 and half years, he said and asked if the benefits reach the people.
If the BJP claims to take the State forward by inaugurating a few market sheds in hill districts and 4 foot bridges at Imphal, then they are taking the people for granted, N Loken asserted and reiterated that almost all the projects inaugurated by the current Government were implemented by the Congress.
What the former Chief Minister O Ibobi had done for Manipur in 15 years is indescribable, N Loken continued.

It's time the people give befitting reply to the BJP for all their lies and empty assurances, N Loken said and asked all to support Congress in the forthcoming election to save Manipur and India.
