Brojeshori condoled

Manipur Olympic Association has deeply condoled the untimely demise of Olympian judoka Lourembam Brojeshori Devi, who passed away on July 21 at a Coimbatore hospital.
Along with observing a two minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul of the international player, an emergency meeting of MOA convened today at Olympic Bhavan, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex recounted Brojeshori's participation at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, Asian and Commonwealth Games in 2002 and South Asian Games in 2006 and 2010, said an MOA release.
The MOA also described Brojeshori's demise as a great loss to the sports fraternity of Manipur and an irreparable one for women judo in the country.
MOA also shared the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Kanglei Sports Academy, Thongju also conveyed deep condolence on the untimely demise of Brojeshori Devi.
A statement issued by the Academy said its members observed a two minute silence during a condolence meeting held today at its office and prayed for the peaceful rest of the departed soul in the heavenly abode.
They also shared grief of the bereaved family.
