Opposition party has nothing left to do other than create issue, says Education Minister

Education Minister Thokchom Radheshyam has asserted that since the coming of BJP led coalition Government into power the Opposition party has nothing left to do other than trying to mislead the people on every small matter.
Responding to a query of a media persons while inspecting the work progress of one Engineering College at Heirok Part-II, Khangarok, the Minister said that the public are having a tough time as the Opposition Party is continuously misleading them in every issue.
As Inner Line Permit System has been extended to the State and Citizenship Amendment Bill has now become an Act there is no need to make an issue out of it anymore, the Minister added.
"The public wants the incumbent Government to form a Government in the next term too as we do things according to their aspiration", he said and added that he would try to fulfil all the duties given to him by the party leaders.
Responding to another query, Radheshyam said that reshuffling of Council of Ministers is necessary for healthy governance.
On the other hand, the Education Minister today inaugurated a 50 bedded Girls' Hostel of Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School, Thoubal and newly constructed 10 classrooms of Ngarouthel Upper Primary School, Heirok part III during separate functions.
The 50 bedded Girls' Hostel of Chaoyaima Higher Secondary School, Thoubal is constructed by District Rural Development Agencies (DRDA) Thoubal under the funding from the North East Council, Government of India.
Addressing the inaugural function of the Girls' Hostel, the Minister said that the hostel will facilitate many girls from remote areas in pursuing an education at the school.
The inaugural function was organised by the District Administration, Thoubal.
The Minister is hopeful that the hostel will help in bridging the gaps of inequity.
He said that in terms of intelligence and performance girls don't lack behind a boy, however, because of gender favouritism in the past, the society did not give much opportunities to the girls.
Further, he elaborated that with the change in time, the scenario is slowly changing and with the motto of the Government "Sabka Saath, SabkaVikas", it is important that the society as a whole put in a collective effort for inclusive growth.
The Minister also added that the hostel is being built to lessen the problem of accommodation and travelling faced by the girls' student from far-flung places.
The Minister also attended the inaugural function of the newly constructed 10 classrooms of Ngarouthel Upper Primary School, Heirok part III at the school campus organised by Department of Education (S).
The classrooms were constructed under the funding of Engineering Wing of Education (S).
Addressing the function, the Minister said that the school belongs to everyone.
As children are our future asset, it is a responsibility for one and all to provide proper education to them, he said and added only through education society can progress.
Th Radheshyam also appealed all the teachers to treat the students as their son and daughter.
Bandana Devi, DC Thoubal, A Anilkumar Singh, ZEO, Thoubal along with the staffs and students of the school attended the function.
