Govt school shines in Senapati : Purul Govt School fetes meritorious students

Making it one of the best and rare performing Government higher secondary school in Senapati District, the Purul Government Hr Sec School displayed its excellence through the result of the recently declared Class X and Class XII exams.
Uncommon to otherwise poorly run Government educational institutions all over the State where number of students are less due to poor quality of educational system, poor infrastructure, few Government run institutions like Purul Hr Sec School has showed the way to learn with low cost fees, proper administrations, village monitoring, high number of students, and well performing lecturers/teachers.
On Friday, a felicitation programme was held for successful students from both the Class X and Class XII students.
It was organized by School Development Committee in the presence of various village/local leaders; school Principals, Teachers, lecturers and Parents at the school campus.
The effective administrative system of the Purul Hr Sec School is jointly managed by the School Development Committee and Government appointed Principal and teaching faculty members.
The school proudly announced the cent pass percentage in the class XII exam and 98.99% in the Class X examination with four students securing letter marks in Class X exam and 2 students securing letter marks in Class XII exam.
Speaking at the occasion, Fr Simon Thaikho, Principal Rosary High School, Purul, maintained that quantity education should go along with quality education in any education institution.
He also gave away cash incentive and certificates to students who scored and first Divisioners in both the categories.
