The Patiala House Court, New Delhi has deferred the announcement of final verdict in triple murder case of former Kasom Khullen SDO Dr Thingnam Kishan and his subordinate staff Token and Rajen to January 25 .
Although the Court was supposed to deliver its final verdict today, the hearing was postponed as Justice VK Gupta was on an official tour, said a press release issued by Dr Thingnam Kishan Foundation.
However, accused Hope-son Ningshen was produced before the Court as usual, the press release said and added that Dr Kishan's younger brother was present from the side of the victim's family.
The case is pending in a CBI Special Court at Patiala House, New Delhi.
It may be mentioned that the then Kasom Khullen SDO Dr Kishan and his two subbordinate staff Token and Rajen were abducted by NSCN (IM) cadres on February 13, 2009 before they were hacked to death on February 17, 2009 at Taphou Ku- ki village in Senapati district.
After a mass furore of the general public erupted against the brutal murder, the case was handed over to CBI on January 31, 2010 .
Later, Lt Colonel of the NSCN (IM), Hopeson Ning-shen was named the prime suspect in the case and he has been facing trial at Patiala House Court since past three years.
