Many donate for displaced people, medical camp continues

Many philanthropists and organisations continued to donate essential items for the riot-hit displaced people taking refuge in relief camps and also conducted free medical camps.
CMO Imphal East, Indian Medical Association Manipur Branch, International Red Cross Society Manipur Branch, Trained Nurses Association of India Manipur Branch, CC School Friends and Manipur Chemists and Druggists' Association jointly conducted free medical camp at relief camp set up at Naorem Birahari College, while Citizens' Club, Soibam Leikai Wangkhei Khunou in association with Co-ordinating Body Khurai, CMO Imphal East, Medilane, Shidayai Medicos, Gigi Medicos, Prema Enterprises & popular Enterprises conducted free health camp at Yumnam Khunou relief camp.
Similarly, All Meitei Medicos Union (AMMU), Youth Development Club Lamding Cherapur, organised free medical camps at Moirang Kumam and RYC Club, Angtha relief camps.
Medicines were also distributed at free of cost during the health camp.
National People's Party (NPP) national vice president and former deputy chief minister Yumnam Joykumar, working president Langpoklakpam Jayan-takumar and MLA Khuraijam Loken flagged off a team of NPP Youth Wing for providing medicines and other relief materials at relief camps at its office located at Naoremthong.
Several organisations including Chingamakha Yaipha Lamjing Lup, Youth Development Committee, Chingamakha, Citizens' Club, Tentha Makha Leikai Youth Development Organisation, Awang Khunou Youth Development Committee (AYDC) in association with Awang Khunou Leikai No.4, Imphal West, Peace and Relief Committee Heirok Kendra under the aegis of Heirok MLA Th Radheshyam, Relief Committee Heirok, Youths of Salungpham Ward no.9, Ereng Naga, Nirmal Kangjam and his team, Tengbanglup Youth Development Organisation, Thin-gel Meira Paibi, Thangmeiband, Singjamei Mayengbam Leikai, Wangoi Oinam (Meetei Pangal), Youth Library Club Uripok Po-lem Leikai, Ireima Seva Association, Model Club Chingamakha, Chingamakha Apunba Meira Paibi Nupi Lup, Social Workers' Congress, Ima Panthoibi VLF, Meeyamgi Yaipha Nupi Lup Khongman Zone IV and V, Na-harol Lamjing Shang Sagolband Tera Khuraijam Leikai, Manipur Home Guard Employees Welfare Association, WakhallonMannaba Apunba Kangleipak, Social De-velopment Club Samurou, Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasilloi Apunba Lup, Working Women's Group Sagolband Kendra, Panthoibi Ima Sana Keithel Nupi Lup, Youth Devel Universal Club Langthabal Kunja Awang Leikai, Eastern Students' Club Nongmeibung, Nongmei-bung Meira Paibi Development Association, Lilong (Thoubal) Municipal Council, Thoubal Achouba rai and his staffers, COCOMI Relief Committee, Anandi Lifestyle Solution Singjamei Chingamakha Liwa road, Ningomthong Youth Voluntary Organisation, Youth Development Centre Club Keirao Bitra, SYPO Club Sagolband and YASU Club Yaiskul donated relief materials including edible items, medicines, sanitary pads, clothes and others to several relief camps where the displaced victims of the riot are taking shelter.
