Some all party delegates back

Some of the all party delegation which went to Delhi to press Central leaders for enactment of the three Bills passed in August last year by the State Assembly returned here today.
The political party leaders who returned today included Chief Minister O Ibobi, Dr M Nara of CPI, M Tombi, president of JD (U), Th Shyamkumar, MLA of TMC, Karam Shyam, MLA of LJP and State unit BJP president Ksh Bhabananda.
Dy CM Gaikhangam, MPCC president TN Haokip, MPCC treasurer and MLA K Ranjit will return tomorrow.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, JD (U) president M Tombi said the meeting of the all political party delegation led by CM O Ibobi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh yesterday was fruitful.
The Union Home Minister did not show any sign of disapproval to the three Bills for the protection of all communities of the State during the meeting, Tombi said.
The Union Minister, after he was persuaded on the matter by the delegation, assured to consult legal and Constitutional experts from his end so that a mechanism is brought out on the matter.
He also advised the all political party delegation to consult experts from their side, Tombi conveyed.
After the meeting with the Union Home Minister, the all political party delegation held a meeting among them till around 8 pm yesterday, M Tombi said.
