KCK lits bonfire to welcome 2022

Kangpokpi, January 05 2022:
Kuki Christian Khangthahte (KCK), youth department of Kangpokpi Christian Church organised the annual "Bonfire/Campfire" service to motivate the Christian youths of Kangpokpi and the state to play an active role in shaping the society.
The KCK's 'Campfire' also marked the end of New Year celebration and burning of all past mistakes, wrongdoings, adversities, etc.
The campfire was participated by youths of various Churches including the host Church KCC.
A Gospel service was held in the evening wherein past leaders of KCK from 1986 were honored by the present leaders while a condolence service was also conducted to pay tribute to deceased leaders.
KCK president, Paogouhao Chongloi urged the youth to forgive and forget the past mistakes and move forward with an innovative approach to glorify the name of Jesus Christ throughout the year.
He also exhorted the youth to prepare for the worst as the pandemic is looming large in the world and stand united to help the Government, medical department, and frontline workers to save the people from the dreaded virus.
Former secretary of KCK, Nengtinvah encouraged the youth to guide the younger generation to become a responsible person for society.
Ngulneithang Khongsai, former secretary of KCK from 1992 to 1997 appreciated the present leaders of KCK for remembering the past leaders and honoring them while Khailen Khongsai, former President in 1996 and 1997 handed over appreciation gifts to the present KCK executives.
