Maintaining silence by 60 MLAs after State Assembly adopted a resolution two times in favour of enforcing ILPS in the State is an indication of taking people's aspiration for granted, alleged L Sotinkumar.
On the other hand, 34 non-local labourers were pulled up and later released before a truck which transported the non-locals were set ablaze by some unidentified persons at Koirengei area.
Speaking at a sit-in-protest staged on the issue of ILPS by CPI Manipur State Council at Irawat Bhavan, L Sotinkumar said that the present unrest is due to State Government's failure to take up necessary steps on time.
