Imphal, March 19 2016 :
Even as the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has endorsed incor-poration of Rs 30 crore in the State budget for implementing the National Food Security (NFS) Act from April this year, Chief Minister O Ibobi and Deputy Chief Minister Gai-khangam would be leaving for Delhi tomorrow to meet AICC leaders in connection with the demand for ministry reshuffle.
Some Congress MLAs have been demanding ministry reshuffle and strict adhe- rence to Congress party's 'one man, one post' principle.
Highlighting four points including the two demands, the MLAs met AICC president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi recently.
Meanwhile, a CLP meeting was held this evening at the Chief Minister's conference hall with Chief Minister O Ibobi in the chair.

Ibobi stated that, as invited by AICC president Sonia Gandhi, he would be leaving for Delhi with Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam tomorrow, conveyed one CLP member who attended the meeting.
Notably, some Congress MLAs went to Delhi recently and urged Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to effect ministry reshuffle, enforce 'one man, one post' principle and appointment of MLAs as chairmen to vacant political posts.
After the MLAs' meeting with the AICC leaders, Chief Minister O Ibobi and his deputy Gaikhangam went to Delhi to meet the AICC high command but they could not meet the top AICC leaders.
Nonetheless, AICC leaders invited them to Delhi today.
As such, they would be leaving for Delhi tomorrow.
The CLP meeting also deliberated on implementing NFS Act in the State from the later part of April.
It has been reported that Rs 30 crore has been incorporated for implementing of the Act and the amount would be reimbursed by the Government of India.
Once the NFS Act is implemented, people would get rice at Rs three per Kg.
Even though 87 per cent of the total population of Manipur are entitled to enjoy the benefits of the Act, only 75 per cent would be covered at the initial stage of implementing the Act, said the MLA.
