Active cases cross 100 again

Imphal, March 14 2022:
After it had dropped below 100, the State's Covid-19 active cases have risen to 110 (general population 106 and Central security personnel 4) .
With 16 individuals confirmed positive out of 944 samples tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, the State logged daily positivity rate of 1.7 per cent on Monday.
The positive cases belong to Imphal East (3), Imphal West (6), Thoubal (2), Bish-nupur (2), Kakching (1), Kangpokpi (1) and Tamenglong (1) .
The death toll remains unchanged from yesterday at 2118 as there was no report of Covid related during the last 24 hours.
Three individuals who were undergoing treatment for Covid-19 under home isolation were discharged today.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases in the State now stands at 1,37,007 (general population 1,31,993 and Central security personnel 5,014).It includes 1,34,779 recovered cases (general population 1,29,776 and Central security personnel 5,003) .
The recovery rate as on Monday is 98.37 per cent.
Till Sunday, 49.79 per cent of the State's total eligible population has been given both the first and second doses of Covid vaccine while 61.32 has received the first dose.
