Imphal, April 12 2022:
With three persons confirmed positive out of 327 samples tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, the State recorded daily positivity rate of 0.9 per cent.
The fresh positive cases belong to Imphal West (2) and Imphal East (1), according to a bulletin issued by Additional Director (Health) and Covid-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
Following recovery, four people were discharged from home isolation during the last 24 hours.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the State is now 1,37,165 (general population 1,32,151 and Central security personnel 5,014) .
This figure includes 37 active cases, all from general population and 1,35,008 recovered cases (general population 1,30,001 and Central security personnel 5,007) .
The recovery rate as on Tuesday is 98.43 while the death toll remains unchanged at 2120 as there was no report of Covid related death during the last 24 hours.
A total of 102 D-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of the State yesterday.
Currently, 299 (out of 300) Covid beds of JNIMS and another 189 (out of 190) of RIMS are vacant.
Taking into account 2375 doses jabbed yesterday, the cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 28,06,836 (first dose 15,48,399, second dose 11,89,812 and precautionary dose 68,625) .
Till April 11, 50.82 per cent of the State's total eligible population has been vaccinated with both the first and second doses of Covid vaccine while 61.59 per cent has received the first dose.
