Imphal, July 29:
In a significant gesture the Dimapur Students Union, Naga Mothers Association and Dimapur Naga Hoho issued a call to the people of Nagaland to maintain communal harmony and not target other community especially the Meiteis in view of the tense situation in Nagaland following the Centres decision to limit the cease fire within the boundary of Nagaland only.
The call to maintain communal harmony and not to target the Meiteis and other community was made during a joint meeting of the organization today at Dimapur.
The people of Manipur particularly the organisations spear heading the anti-cease fire extension to Manipur had gone the extra way to ensure that no communal confrontation occurred in the movement against the cease fire extension to Manipur.
