Protestors continued to target residences of MLAs as the residences of former Chief Minister Radhabinod Koijam and Heingang AC MLA Thoiba came under heavy attack today.
Protesters also tried to storm the residence of the Speaker, S Dhananjoy.
Over 50 persons tried to storm the house of Radhabinod at Thangmeiband at 6.45 pm.
Sagolsem John (22) of Khuyathong Polem Leikai, H Romenkumar (18) of Kakching Makha Leikai and RK Napoleon (18) of Nagamapal were injured in police firing.
The mob used petrol bombs and catapults to attack the residence of the former Chief Minister.
Roofing�s on the western side of the house caught fire from the petrol bombs.
Additional security forces rushed to the site of incident and managed to disperse the mob.
The mob also tried to set ablaze a cable factory belonging to Brajogapal, elder brother of Radhabinod.
Security personnel dispersed the mob.
A mob attacked the residence of Heingang BJP MLA Dr W Thoiba at Leipham Khunou Mayai Leikai today at 2.30 pm and tried to set it ablaze.
Police have arrested three persons in connection with the incident while one person has been injured in the attack at the MLAs residence.
The mob stoned the MLA�s residence and a number of flower pots and other items placed outside the house were destroyed in the stone pelting.
Window panes were destroyed and the mob doused the residence with petrol and tried to set it aflame.
A petrol tanker belonging to the younger brother of the MLA called Rupachandra was damaged in the stone pelting.
One person identified as W Tomba was injured in the incident.
The residence of MLA Bihari of Khurai AC was set ablaze last night at about 10.As many as four wooden and steel almirahs, various furniture items as well as part of the ground floor were burnt.
A Maruti van was totally damaged.
CRPF personnel have been deployed at the residence of the MLA.
Anti-cease fire protestors swooped down on the Tera police outpost today at about 8 pm and set it aflame.
The outpost which has not been functioning for the last few years is manned by only three personnel led by an ASI.
The outpost is housed at the Ideal Club, Tera Keithel since 1980.As the outpost has no telephone facilities, information of the attack could not be given on time, said the ASI.
Even though security personnel tried their best to put out the fire all document and items used by the police personnel were reduced by the fire.
The cinema hall of Th Chaoba, Hera Talkies, at Nambol was reduced to cinders when a 100 strong mob set it ablaze at 8.10 pm today.
A mob of about 1000 also tried to storm the residence of the Speaker Dr Dhananjoy at Khongman today at about 10pm.Additional police force and members of local Clubs and organizations tried to stoop the advancing mob.
When reports last came in the protestors had gone back but they were yet to be dispersed.
Additional Para military forces were also rushed to the spot to thwart any trouble from erupting.
