Imphal, August 09 2009:
Taking a serious note of the disturbance to law and order situation, following the mass movement against the BT Road incident of July 23, a high-level security review meeting was held today.
The meeting decided not to make any relaxation of the continuing curfew tomorrow.
The decision not to relax the curfew for any period tomorrow, comes in the backdrop of the Apunba Lup deciding to stage a protest rally tomorrow, and to submit memoranda of different organisations to the Governor.
In the last two days, curfew had been relaxed from 5 am to 12 pm.
