Lockdown till Jul 15 : 3 Ima Keithels to remain closed

Imphal, June 30 2020:
The Executive Committee of the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has issued fresh lockdown guidelines which would be in force in the entire State until further orders or till July 15, whichever is earlier.
There would be complete lockdown and curfew in all containment zones as notified by the Deputy Commissioners concerned till July 15 .
There shall be complete curfew in the entire State from 6 pm to 5 am until further orders or till July 15 whichever is earlier.
Activities prohibited from July 1 to 15 throughout the State
1.All inter-State bus services except those permitted by Home Department
2.All Auto-rickshaws and taxis
3.Schools, colleges, educational/training/coaching institutions shall remain closed
4.Hotels, restaurants and hospitality services except those meant for housing, health/police/Government officials/healthcare workers/stranded persons including tourists
5.All cinema halls, shopping malls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places
6.All social/political/sports/entertainment/academic/cultura1/religious functions/other gatherings and large congregations
7.All religious places/places of worship shall be closed to public.
Religious congregations are strictly prohibited
8.All saloons and spas
9.All three markets of Ima Keithel and retail shops of Ngari Gali.

Activities permitted from July 1 to 15 (throughout the State without restriction of time)
1.All activities related to essential services.
2.Health related activities:
a) Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Clinics and Dispensaries.
b) All Chemists, Pharmacies and all kinds of medicine shops including Jan Aushadhi Kendras and Medical equipment shops.
c) Medical Laboratories and collection centres.
d) Veterinary Hospitals, dispensaries, clinics and related pathological laboratories and sale and supply of vaccines.
3.Social Sector:
a) Operation of Homes for children/disabled/mentally challenged/senior citizen/destitutes/women/widows.
b) Observation Homes, After-care Homes and Juvenile Homes.
c) Disbursement of Old Age pension/widow pension/freedom fighter pensions.
d) Operation of Anganwadi centres by distribution of food items and nutrition once in 15 days at the doorsteps of beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries should not attend Anganwadi centres.
4 Online teaching:
a) All educational establishments are expected to maintain the academic schedule through online teaching.
5.Movement of cargo and goods:
a) All goods vehicles are allowed to cross inter-State border at Mao, Jiribam and Jessami.
b) All drivers and helpers of the trucks who enter the State from outside the State shall mandatorily follow the Standard Operating Protocol already notified by the Home Department.
Any person visiting their home shall remain under home quarantine as per the advice of Health Department.
c) Shops or truck repairs and dhabas on highways with social distancing prescribed.
d) Movement of staff and contractual labour for operation of railways.
6.Public Utilities
a) Print and electronic media.
b) Telecommunication and internet services.
c) Operation of water/sanitation and waste management sectors.
Activities permitted from July 1 to 15 (throughout the State from 6 am to 5pm)
1.Commercial and private establishments
a) Courier services.
b) Private security services.
c) Food processing units.
d) MSME related activities in rural areas.
e) Mineral water manufacturing and distribution.
f) Home delivery of food by restaurants and outlets.
2.Finance Sector
a) RBI and RBI regulated financial market.
b) Bank branches, ATMs and business correspondents.
c) LIC and its branches.
d) Microfinancing institutions approved by competent authority.
3.Public utilities
a) All inter-district public transport service by bus or mini-bus with 50 per cent capacity maintaining social distance.
b) Distribution of LPG through home delivery.
c) Postal services including post office.
d) Petrol pumps.
4.Shops and establishments
a) Home delivery of essential commodities.
b) All locality based retail shops except those in Dharamsala area, Thangal Bazar and Paona Bazar shall open as per separate order issued on June 8.
c) Wholesale markets at Imphal for sale to retail shops as permitted by DCs on district-wise rotation basis as currently followed.
5.Offices of Central and State Governments
a) All Central and State Government offices shall be opened.
b) There shall be total ban on visitors.
6.Agricultural related activities and fisheries
a) Farming operations by farmers and farm workers in field.
b) Agencies engaged in procurement of agricultural produce including Farmer Producer Companies.
c) Operation of fish farms and fishing.
d) Fish feed plants.
7.MGNREGA works:
a) MGNREGA works are allowed in rural areas with strict implementation of social distancing and face mask.
8.Construction activities:
a) Construction of roads and railway projects in rural areas.
b) Construction and maintenance of rural water supply schemes.
c) Brick fields.
9.Animal Husbandry:
a) Collection, processing, distribution and sale of milk and milk products.
b) Operation of poultry firms and hatcheries.
c) Animal feed manufacturing.
