Manipur logs one more Covid case

Imphal, March 31 2022:
Even as the State detected one fresh Covid case from Kangpokpi in the last 24 hours, at least five persons were discharged today from Home Isolation (3) and CCCs (2) .
The single day positivity rate updated on Thursday was 0.2 per cent as 489 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
With this figure, the recovered cases now stand at 1,34,940 while the recovery rate is 98.43 per cent.

No deaths were also reported in the period and as such the death toll remains at 2120 .
As per the COVID-19 Common Control Room, at least 297 Covid beds are vacant at JNIMS while another 187 are lying unoccupied at JNIMS.
Yesterday, the State distributed 281 D type and 97 B type oxygen cylinders to different health facilities and administered 2754 Co vid vaccine doses.
In terms of Covid vaccination, the State has fully vaccinated 50.48 per cent of its eligible population till yesterday while another 61.52 per cent have received at least one dose of vaccine.
Kangpokpi remains the district with least vaccination coverage as it has only fully vaccinated just 16.47 percent of its eligible population.
