Though same of the poems have no poetic depth they have their own charm. The poem Yotki Pallon-nungda reflects the sorrowful condition of our time through symbols and images. The poet expresses his love of the motherland in the poems like Meichak Meiri Phumduna Khanglibi, Ima Poknapham, Nok-hallo Ima Poknapham, Yaiphabi Ima, Loumi Sinmigi Maruploi and Lounamba Thoudok. Love poems like Thambal, Kok-hallaro Khourangbase reflect the poet's romantic feeling. These are written in the form of lyric. In the poem Chanbi Heibi the poet expresses his adoration of his lover.
