The conflict of romanticism and realism is found in the stories feature of the book. The romantic affair of a man called Manikanta is reflected in the story Wari Oikhraba Wari which takes the title of the book, too. Manikanta has a close friend called Anil. Manikanta is enchanted by the beauty of Chandrashakhi and can't expressed his love owing to the fact that she is the sister of Anil. Many years and months have passed without revealing his love. One day in his best level, Manikanta expresses his love towards the girl. The girl also accepts in good faith. Unfortunately the girl lost her leg in an accident and after that she keeps herself aloof from Manikanta. Lastly the plot is ended on the tragic death of Chandrasakhi. |
