Virtual classroom facility in five colleges of Manipur

Manipur education (university) directorate is all set to introduce virtual classroom model, the latest high tech facility of online study, in the state from next month, director C Arthur W told reporters here on Wednesday. A virtual classroom is a teaching and learning environment where participants can interact, communicate, view and discuss presentations, and engage with learning resources while working in groups, all in an online setting, Arthur said.
Arthur informed that facility will be installed in five colleges initially, Churachandpur College (Churachandpur), CI College (Bishnupur), DM College of Science (Imphal), Pettigrew College (Ukhrul) and YK College (Thoubal) as pilot project. Development of infrastructures in these colleges has been almost completed.
