'Ukhrul blast related with monetary demand'

Rajender claimed that the blast was triggered by a militant group serving monetary demand from shops at Viewland run by non-locals.
Earlier, the militant group asked him to produce sum of Rs 30 lakh from the shops run by non-locals in the Bazar. He and two others shopkeepers who were contacted by the militants had refused to take the responsibility of collecting the amount. Despite the refusal, the group asked to ensure payment of Rs 15 lakh.
