Training programme for North East representative in Delhi Police

New Delhi, August 20, 2014: A training-cum-refreshers’ course for Delhi Police North East (DPNE) representatives will be
held on August 29
at the Conference Hall, SPUWAC, Nanakpura, Delhi
informed IGP Robin Hibu, Nodal Officer for North East Region.
Various topics on rent laws, labour laws, legal basic rights/ forensic reports by forensic doctors, etc will be covered during the training-cum-refreshers’ course.
NK Gaur, deputy labour commissioner will speak on Labour Laws (non-payment of salary, harassment, dismissal, etc) while Dharmesh Sharma, secretary DSLSA will talk on the basic rights (FIR/NCR, victim compensation, landlord tenant rights, etc). The Social Welfare Department will also lecture on various social welfare measures taken up in Delhi.
Robin Hibu further informed NE-based bodies in Delhi to submit applications for new appointment of active, social workers, NE students for DPNE representatives from different North East States by August 25 at CAW Nanakpura office with two recent photos to be verified by the local and home police.
