To Enlightenment
Biju Thounaojam *
Some spaces are and were dark;
Some enlighten and some still dark.
The path,walked on for years,
And still walking for the rest.
Many a rugged mountains,
Many a twisting ravines;
Human limits-the intervening force?
To reach beyond,a notch,
Sigh! Feeble turned and "QUIT" called.
Walked long and nothing sought?
As sowed,it reaps for our fill,
As sun rises, the sky glows,
And as life for a purpose.
Between two ends build across
A bridge and there pay not the bill.
To enlightenment, walk on!
