Thy name
Debina Sanasam *
On a quiet dark night
She comes on a tip toe
She resides in the dark
But is not a friend of the stars
Nor a foe of the light
She watches as the devil tango
But dances along to the angels waltz
She bow down to cascading tears
But blooms like a smile on the lips
She closes her eyes but never sleep
Lest will the demon slowly creep
She is fragile but she is never weak
For she knows she is what every soul seek
She is dim but she is there
Incased in every silent prayer
Thy name is hope.
