The untameable
Rashmi Elangbam *
Blue as the mighty ocean
Calm as the breeze
Like a painted picture
All fresh and new
Fragrance like rosemary, lavender and ivy
Scent so tempting and sweet
Beauty that of an angel
Heart, the size of an ocean
A beauty beyond measure
A beauty beyond compare
Tear drops so precious
Smile so rare
Those fair , soft skin
like that of a snow flake
Those cold glares
like that of ice and frost
Time seems to have stopped
Warm breeze and flowers no more
All fallen leaves and broken hearts
Waiting to be healed
Waiting to be found.
