The end of a poem
Parthajit Borah *
A short period of storm which
washes all the pathos from heart,
A sweet shower of west wets
all the blooming buds of garden.
An untiring diver of vast sea
dives in search of pearls .
A fluroscent of new galaxy
draws the future of my land.
A fragrance of eternity cryies
for the countrymen.
A glittering sapphire of bottomless sea
sparks at every rise of my land,
A usherer of modern india awakes
every sons of my land.
A farsighted eye of politics judges
with noble sight.
A foeless sentinel of our flag
guards its dignity.
Resting on the Jamuna fighting
with the unknown waves.
(A Tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee)
