The Winter's Earthy Thought
- Deep from the Soul -
K. Radhakumar *
The crackling becomes louder,
I feel dizzy.
Things like this happen off and on.
A child is born.
It's born,
And,
For better or worse,
We the parents can't change it now.
The world in the pages of history!
I look out over the city from the air
And I know
Ours is a new world.
For the first few seconds
I don't know
If the earth's surface is shaking
Suddenly and violently.
