The Endlessness of Life
K. Radhakumar *
The Victorian window suddenly sees
Leaves falling outside.
The last rays of the setting sun
Kiss the warm earth
And is playing around.
Leaves fall into decay.
This is not a new experience.
Lucky.
Damn lucky.
Leaves on the ground.
Lucky.
A kite
At the end of a string.
Currents of naughty air!
Suddenly, the string snaps.
There is nothing strange about it.
Not satisfied with this universe
Which has spatial and temporal dimensions
I keep on dreaming...
Life before birth!
Life after death
A journey
With no beginning and no end!
Where do I go from here?
Is it a two-day stopover?
I would like to think
Life is a serious thing
It is more than flying a kite.
