The Dimensions
L Ibemhal *
When you were excited for the flesh
Suddenly I was a whore
Sometimes as a sacred image you adore me
All the households were given to me
As the most courageous one you praised up me
When you were desirous so highly you raised me up
The kindness one on earth you called me
But when I'm defeated
As a beast you've treated me
Treated me as a wild beast
When you've hated and despised me.
Your mother!
Your daughter!
Your spouse!
Your sister!
Your friends!
Or a whore!
Anything anyone you can call
Of flesh and blood I'm a doll
A stone statue who could speak I am
A living being who got no heart I am
Here now still I'm standing
The kaleidoscopic dimensions of yours waiting.
