The Call of Soul
Romio Khangemba *
Following the Decree O Divine,
With tiny Fist of Fairness!
Cries the First song of Souls!
Walks the world of Wisdom!
Oh! You heart, of hearts
Oh! You soul, of souls
You grow staunch and strong
And toils for the man to be made!
Oh! Soul, victimised by destiny
Down, hurt and wrought!
Carrying it over behind the curtain of dreams
Dreaming it to be sprout out.
Crying aloud in silent
Hard hit by the heartless line of destiny
Shy from senses, promise! No to tears
The eye has lost it wetness.
Shoulder the heaviness of virtuous
Time has passed by
Oh brave soul of my soul, brace me in your heart
Take my soul in your soul, Take me in your world.
