TSA-B held its 1st "Freshers' Welcome-cum-Annual Meet" - 2014
The Thadou Students' Association, Bengaluru held its first ever "Freshers' Welcome-cum-Annual Meet" – 2014 After its inception on the 16th July, 2014 (Wednesday) in Yavanika, State Youth Centre, Nrupathunga Road, Bengaluru.
At 03:00 P.M. the program starts with an opening prayer by Prof. Lenpu Touthang, Academic Deam, Hope Theological College, Bengaluru wherein Ms. Priscilla Singsit, IRS (Commissioner of Income Tax), Mr Ngamkhohao Haokip, Manager, ATC, AAI, Mr. Seikhohao Sitlhou, Chief Manager, SBI Banaswadi Branch and Rev. A. Singsit, IDAS (Retd.) graces the function as Chief Guest, Functional President, Guest of Honor and Functional Minister of the program.
Peculiar Number of Solo from Local Artistes, Traditional Cultural Dance by various divisional groups/areas among TSA-B's, Traditional Attire Show by the TSA-B Kids and Speech by the VIP's are the principal details of the events. TSA-B Choir sing the TSA Anthem with their musical voice.
Mr. Michael Haokip, President of the Association in his address clearly highlights the Aims and Objectives of the Students' Association. He announced the Annual Events Calendar of the Association. He also says that "Thadou, being a recognized tribe as per GOI Linguistic Tribe, 1956 is legal and legitimate can form and association and act the same."
Honorable Chief Guest in her speech conveys to the gatherings "to focus on our purpose in the city in respect to the association's motto- March forward".

"We shall all put efforts in our endeavor of whatever designation, we possess may be a student or an employee so that we can be a recognized person in our society."
Functional President of the Function appealed to the people.
Honored Guest of Honor says "Thadou are shy in nature, we never often highlight being ourselves as Thadou in wherever we live. But here in Bengaluru, we do highlight ourself being Thadou without any hesitations, which I highly appreciate it."
Functional Minister, Rev. A. Singsit in his motivational speech to encourage all the Freshers' and all the gatherings enlightened in accordance with the words of God.
All TSA-B Members who successfully made their academic employment in the academic year 2013-14 were being felicitated with small citations and Gifts and are being blessed by the Minister of the Function.
Around 300 Members attended the program and was successfully ended with a closing prayer by Evan. Paokhosei Kipgen, Kuki Worship Service, Bengaluru.
TSA-B was founded on 29th June, 2013 and is a registered not-for profit organization under Registrar of Societies, GoK. It is also a broad-based student body for Thadou in the state of Karnataka.
