Distribution of essential life saving supplies to hospitals in Manipur
We are a group of well wishers of Manipur which have come together in an effort to try to help the healthcare services in Manipur which are dealing with the current Covid19 pandemic.
This includes British citizens who are working as health care professionals, RIMS alumni, MU/DM college alumni and many citizens of Manipur currently residing in France, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, UAE, UK and most importantly many people residing in various regions of Manipur across all the ethnic backgrounds.
We managed to raise some amount of money and procured many essential life saving supplies and distributed them to some of the hospitals in the state including RIMS, JMINS and some district hospitals. We would like to appreciate those on the ground in Manipur who made this possible.
We hope that this would help many patients in getting emergency life saving treatments while waiting for more essential supplies from other main sources.
Distribution of essential life saving supplies to hospitals in Manipur
We appreciate that many people in Manipur are already doing their best in ways they can to help in managing the crisis.
We would like to encourage our kind generous public to please donate generously to your local hospital and ensure vital medical supplies like oxygen mask, venous cannula, intravenous fluids like ringer lactate/normal saline and drugs like dexamethasone are readily available, enabling hospitals to start treatment on arrival to the hospitals.
This pandemic would only end through a strong Community spirit and most scientific collective efforts are made by all.
Our thoughts and prayers with all those families who have lost loved ones and best wishes to all who are working hard to control the Covid19 pandemic.
