Stop War with Nature :: An Artwork and an Essay by Banti Phurailatpam
About the Artwork:
Dont ever and ever engage in war with nature, if we are at war again and again with nature, then Natural disaster will come soon. So it is the right time to acquire proper planning and emergency management. We need to protect forest area...Forest fire causes imbalances in nature. So the most common hazard in forest is forest fire, it is now essential to raise public awareness on that matter, particularly among those people who live close to or in forested areas and hill areas.
The forest fire management programmes are lacking in our state (Manipur). The Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, need to prepare a Plan for Forest Fire Control. If we do not control then loss of natural regeneration and reduction in forest cover, global warming , loss of carbon sink resource and increase in percentage of CO2 in atmosphere, loss of livelihood for tribal people etc. will occur. Does disaster come from human activities? Disasters have been caused as a result of human carelessness.
So the thing is that God created all humans and nature on this earth. We, humans, destroy all nature on this earth, so that is why Nature also have the spirit to destory all humans on this earth. So nature did the "Disaster" . So, if we, humans, want to stop Nature's disaster, then we need to give love to nature and to take care of nature. Thereafter, Nature will give love to humans and nature will take care of us, humans, too .
Lets live together with nature. Nature is our future and nature is our life.
