Dimapur, 09th July, 2021
Rise in prices of essential commodities protest in Nagaland
Day Three of #NagalandProtests by Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee was marked by a series of signature campaign led by PCC office bearers, frontal organizations and party workers Dimapur District Congress Committee and its frontal organizations.
Party workers were deployed at 10 different fuel stations where a banner demanding rollback of petrol and diesel prices was put up for drivers and public to put their signatures below the heading. The enthusiastic response of the vehicle drivers and public to put their signatures on the banner as well on the signature collection table is duly appreciated.
As the agitation campaign rolls on, NPCC would also like to remind the public especially youths that online signature link has been created and circulated on social media platforms.
The response has so far been encouraging and keeping in view the current Covid-19 guidelines, we request the public to use this medium to lend their voice and support for rollback of high fuel prices that has become a huge burden for majority of the population struggling to survive during this pandemic lockdown.
