Sarita row: Manipur fumes at harsher punishment hint

The sports fraternity in Manipur has expressed deep anguish over AIBA's stance to impose heavy penalty on boxer Laishram Sarita Devi.
"We strongly condemn the AIBA chief's cruel and vindictive statement. How could she (Sarita) face heavy penalty when she had already tendered an apology. If at all the AIBA wants to bring justice, it should put a life ban on all corrupt judges," said one of them.
