Running away seems more legit
Stella Chongtham *
Running away seems more legit ,
Staying and waiting for it to hit you more a mistake,
Having words spoken flying aimlessly more troublesome,
Unlocking whats beneath never an option...
Setting free the demon inside,
Never knowing how it turns bk on you,
True is the belief take it all in and never give it back...
Memories swallowing whats left of your living self,
Engulfing your sanest self,
Having to see the flash back like a cinema,
Feeling the greener side of the faded yellow,
Strength be given to those who managed to be on the other side of the 'faded',
Still crossing the river on a tattered bridge to finding myself...
Like a wounding clock,
The key to my heart broken and lost....
Somebody's whisper latching on to my thoughts,
Holding the light to my extinguished lantern in the darkness of misery,
On the palm of demon I play,
Never letting one cross the webs of greed guilt and jealousy.....
The crease on my palm when i take shelter by the deep green pastures,
Letting me know every deed demands a return in full amount...
Naive was I at first,
The world a beautiful place with its peaceful inhabitants...
Then nature turned on my beliefs,
Showing the intricate workings of every being,
I let my soul venture away from my being then....
Bringing back every whisper it felt and heard over the vast sea,
Finding its way back to the chambers of my brain....
Windows in the corridor slowly disappearing ....
The hue of the glass i look through slowly changing...
More murky than clear,
Blurry visions inhibit my dream....
As i cross the dark valley that most fear,
I pack my bags and prepare to run,
Because running away seems more legit...
Staying and waiting for it to hit you more of a mistake!
