The album was released officially by Prof Medhi, former Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University as Chief Guest. Prof HNK VC, Manipur University, Shri Kh. Jaikisan Honourable MLA, Thangmeiband Constituency (Imphal) and RK Nimai Singh, the secretary of Arts and Culture Govt. of Manipur and Advisor to the Governor of Manipur were the Guest of Honours. Bhupen Hazarika’s youngest brother, Samar Hazarika , father of Manipur Cinema Aribam Syam Sarma and J P Das were present on the dais as special guests from Assam. It was one of the greatest honours ever meted to any singer of Assam in Manipur.
