'Rhythms of Manipur' treats Imphal to fusion dance

People of Imphal were enthralled by a dance performance in an evening of song and dance on Saturday presented by Rhythms of Manipur, a local traditional and fusion performing dance group of Manipur, with its new production, titled Nongju Tantha (Rhythmic Rain).
The musical presentation was directed by Haobam Nisheshwor Singh, a noted music composer and director. The production was a confluence of folk and ethnic music from Manipur with instruments like Langden, Meitei Pung, Pena, Toudri, Dhulok, and Khol.
